Carol Ann amplifiers are all hand built PTP amplifiers and are made using the finest materials and components available. In a relatively short period of time these amplifiers have been discovered and are used by some of the most discerning and respected guitar players on the planet. Each amplifier is built with passion with the end goal always being consistently stunning tone and the utmost reliability. All Carol-Ann amplifiers are assembled and tested personally by Alan Phillips in a 3000 sq ft dedicated business facility as well being play tested in a live environment before being shipped to the Dealer.

Like you, all of us at Carr Amplifiers are guitarists. We share your love of the guitar, and we feel very fortunate to build amplifiers for a living at our shop in Pittsboro, North Carolina. And although we are understandably proud of our unique circuit designs, meticulous point-to-point construction, premium components and hand-crafted cabinets, our success has ultimately been the result of one simple fact; discerning guitarists continue to enthusiastically embrace the tone, reliability and versatile nature of our amplifiers. Swart Amplifier Co was founded on a simple principle: Everything revolves around great Tone. And where there is great tone, there are VALVES; no solid state devices need apply. Rectification is by valve, not harsh sounding solid-state diodes. Finally, there is something that equals the heyday of valve amplifiers, with quality point to point wired circuits using excellent iron and parts that don't leech the harmonics from the stream.
