The Songwriter 30 was the last Trainwreck amplifier design that was built by the legendary Kenneth Fischer. Due to his failing health, Ken was only able to build two of these magnificent hand wired amplifiers. Komet Amplification has been awarded the license by Trainwreck to recreate the Songwriter 30 in exacting detail to the original.

We are using "Bree", one of the two original Trainwreck Songwriter amps that is on long term loan to Komet, as our reference amp. Every new Songwriter 30 is meticulously hand built and voiced, then it is play tested in comparison to "Bree" to be sure it sounds just as perfect. It's powered by a quartet of cathode biased EL84/6BQ5 output tubes. The pre amp incorporates two 12AX7 tubes. It's meticulously assembled and hand wired with only the best sounding and most reliable components.

The Custom 50 PS is the same circuit as our standard Custom 50 but with the addition of Power Scaling to give you that "Live at Leeds" tone without disrupting the neighborhood.   Constructed to the exact same specifications as Dave Reeves original HIWATT™ design with Partridge replica transformers, dual channel pre-amp with 4 Inputs (2 Normal, 2 Bright). Normal volume and bright volume, bass, middle, treble, presence and master volume controls. Like all Reeves Amplifiers, the Custom 50 is entirely hand assembled using only the finest quality components-resistors and capacitors assembled on a Garolite turret board utilizing "Mil-Spec" wiring techniques.   Following closely to the original design the Reeves Custom 50 is the new leader in high headroom-low distortion amplification. If you are looking for an amplifier as solid base for laying your pedals on top of - then the Custom 50 will provide dynamic impact, soundstage focus and detail.

Matchless - Lightning 112 Combo Black

The Lightning’s interactive tone controls influence each other in a very dynamic way and pull each other’s range and reach up and down. Actual tonal possibilities are very extensive and it produces loud output volumes not normally associated with a 15 watt rating.

The Pro-grade single channel preamp with its interactive tone controls is coupled to a serious dual-EL84 power section with a tube rectifier. All models have active EQ to attain an excellent array of complex tones. User controls include Volume, Interactive Bass & Treble, and Master Volume.
